After a devastating fire destroyed the original chapel complex, the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Army Chaplain held a special ceremony to bless new grounds as they unveiled plans to design and construct a new chapel complex to serve the community in a multitude of ways.
Set amidst the beautiful grounds of historic Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, this 32,900 SF brick and stone structure seats over 1,100 patrons in its main sanctuary and is fully equipped with a kitchen/pantry, multi-purpose space, state-of-the-art media equipped conference rooms, nursery areas and classrooms.
Designed as LEED Silver, Greenleaf Construction received an “Excellent” rating for its LEED documentation of this project.
