Woodland Highland Homes
Project Highlights
- New Construction
- 14 Single Family Homes
- Exterior Improvements including Landscape Sidewalks
- Extensive Site Utilities
Built upon the site formerly known as the Little Sisters of the Poor Convent, the Woodland Highlands subdivision allowed Greenleaf Construction to work collaboratively with one of Kansas City’s premier community development firms, their design team and the neighborhood’s homeowner’s association to successfully deliver 20 new homes reminiscent of the existing homes in the neighborhood.
GCC managed multiple crews to keep construction moving simultaneously on more than one house at a time, allowing us to meet the Owner’s aggressive schedule. Demolition and removal of existing foundations as well as the addition of a new infrastructure system was a must to accommodate buyers’ enjoying their new homes for many years to come.
In addition, Greenleaf Construction subcontracted over 55% of this project to minority and disadvantaged firms further showcasing that doing business with small business is simply the right way to do business.
